The RIO Elite Gold Max Fly Line is purpose built for fisheries that demand heavy presentations, not PhD fisheries. This line is perfect for medium to heavy indicator and mouse sized dries, from the boat or bank. It can be adapted to fishing different sized streamers, dry dropper and lighter indicator set ups. The full size heavy smoothly unloads large and unwieldy payloads to minimize angler fatigue. The line is rear loaded with a short powerful head. The short powerful head assists in turnover. The short back taper alongside a read-loaded body makes it a roll casting machine that can mend in close and at distance. A short head allows additional control and maintenance mends instead of a one and done approach offered by heavy long head fly lines. These design choices offer versatility in a powerful package.
