The rods have more sensitivity and precision than the Redington Vice which features a similar action. The EDC maintains excellent fish fighting ability. EDC Rods feature a "Matte Pioneer Tan" color blank with yellow and black accents. A handy hash marks on the blank act as fish measurement tool. Black chrome snake guides, ceramic-insert stripper guides and alignment dots adorn the blank. A hidden hook keeper is machined into the reel seat. Jam nuts with exaggerated knurling make the reel set easy to use. The reel seat is anodized aluminum and all models are salwater-ready. Standard handle models feature a half wells grip while the fighting butt models have a full-wells handle. Each rod comes with a rugged nylon rod tube with dividers.
