The M.O.A.T. (Mother of all Tungsten) Nymph designed by popular fly designer and industry pioneer, Rainy Riding, is a very realistic and heavy stonefly nymph.
It is perfect for getting down quickly in fast or high, off colored, water. It is great for both trout and steelhead fishing. It has two large tungsten beads as well as an epoxied thorax for the proper weight to get down and bouncing along the bottom fast. The abdomen is a mixture of various colored round rubber legs giving the fly a soft, spongy, feel when the fish bite it to reduce immediate rejection of the fly after it is eaten. The use of the round rubber legs makes the body color fast and more durable too. It also has round rubber legs for the tail, antenna, and coming out of the thorax, along with some buggy dubbing for additional movement in the water.
This is a bullet-proof stonefly nymph pattern you will have forever. Available in both black and brown.
