It has a slick wrapped abdomen, a larger and darker thorax, and rubber legs to imitate both the cercus (tail) and antenna to match the naturals perfectly. The rubber legs also offer a lot of wiggle movement/attraction to the fly. The fly has a molded steel form inside the body adding the equivalent weight of a brass beadhead.
Another brass bead was then added on the front to give it even more weight to get it down fast in those high running spring rivers when these nymphs move from the bottom to the edges of the river to hatch. Available in black and golden.
