The Nautilus CCFX2 reel is solid as a rock with a fantastic drag and an overall weight that is ideal for salt and freshwater use. The spool sizes 8/10 and 10/12 fit in either models frame. Meaning you can purchase or own either and 8/10 reel or and 10/12 reel and use either version of spool in either frame. The 6/8 spool is only interchangeable with the 6/8 reel.
