The Milky Dream is an excellent fly for targeting stingy Milkfish. The fly was developed in Alphonse Island. It is a simple fly with an olive body alongside white and chartreuse sprinklings designed to imitate plankton. Milkfish are not patrolling predators like most flats species but their revered battle makes them a frequent target. They pursue stationary algae or plankton. Trying to catch Milkies is a fun and unique challenge perfectly suited to fly fishing. Milkfish are primarily targeted in the Seychelles and swim in various tropical locales across Indian and Pacific Ocean. The hotspot option (top in picture) imitates copepod eggs or a collection of tiny crustaceans stuck to a piece of algae.
