Pure 2 rods are meticulously crafted, and like all Winston Fly Rods they are absolutely gorgeous. Winston's legacy or trout fly rods has been a moderate, tippet protecting, mid flexing rod, the Pure 2 maintains this Winston action. Pure 2 rods have a consistent flex profile, a softer tip and mid, and utilize new NanoParticle construction for incredible recovery and stability, increasing accuracy and feel. Pure 2 Rods load beautifully at trout distances, and are capable of fishing the lightest of tippets and smallest flies on tailwaters, spring creeks and small streams.
Pure 2 rods use Winston’s NanoParticle resin Technology to increase strength by 24%. NanoParticle Technology also allows for a slimmer blank, a lighter blank and one with fantastic dampening. Shorter casts are super accurate and long casts can be made with little effort.
Winston’s new Pure 2 Rods have burled wood up-locking nickel sliver reels seats and cigar cork handles. Chrome Nanolite stripper guide and chrome plated, light wire snake guides. All rods are 4 pieces and include a premium graphite tube and logo rods sock.
