Ants=Trout Candy

Seriously, if there are flying ants around, trout go absolutely ballistic for them. Whether its on a high mountain creek for brookies, a back eddy for finicky rainbows and browns, or around a log pile along a lake shore, this fly will work great. We predominately fish ant patterns in the summer when most terrestrial bugs are flying around. We always recommend having a few ants in the dry fly box.
