Sage Enforcer Fly Reels have powerful drags and well thought out features making it the very best saltwater reel in Sage's line up. Inspired by Sage's THERMO Bluewater specific reel the Enforcer series of reels replaced Sage's Spectrum Max with a 50% stronger maximum drag.
the Enforcer Reel has beefed up O-rings and drag plates for added durability, consistency, and reliability. An all new reel foot design with radiused corners prevents abrasion to leaders wrapped around the reel foot for storage-or in the unfortunate, but inevitable line wrap while clearing excess line on the first run of a fish. Each Enforcer Reel is fully machined from 6061-T6 aerospace grade aluminum. Other key features of the Enforcer Reel Series include: ultra robust SCS drag, one revolution drag knob with numbered and detented settings, large arbor design, concave, ported arbor for greater strength and capacity, large diameter ergonomic handle, and a quick change spool mechanism.
