The Rio InTouch Mid Head Spey Line is perfect for the Pacific NW angler: It is built for fishing mid-sized rivers with 13'-14' fly rods.

The long ÒstepÓ taper at the front of the head unfolds effortlessly and allows you to spey cast and cover water efficiently.

This is a traditional, integrated spey line based off of RioÕs old windcutter. The overall length of the Rio InTouch Mid Head Spey is between 110-120 feet. It features a 52-60 foot head, a 37-foot section of running line, with a 10 foot handling section in between. The length of the heads is great for mending and controlling line at a distance, as well. The step taper of the head makes it easy to cast in the wind, even with a sink tip and weighted fly. It performs wonderfully with both sink tips and floating lines, so it is a great all-around spey line for summer steelhead fishing. We love it on the Deschutes and the Willamette; however, this line is suited perfectly for most of the rivers we fish in the Pacific NW.
