The Run is a die cast ( not machined) reel with a ported arbor on the inner barrel of the spool for increased durability and decreased weight.
The Redington Run Reel has a compact carbon fber drag that offers smooth stoppig power. A recessed drag knob helps to reduce line catch. The Run can accept the same spools as the current Redington Rise Reel.
