They are UV gloss dome printed so they are tough and realistic looking. In addition the kit comes with 18 rib lengths to designed to create the stonefly body. The rib is also gloss dome printed and has a two tone look. Simply tie in a tail, dub a body, rib over the dub and then form the thorax using a buggy dubby and the numbered stonefly nymph shells. All of the shells have preformed legs that cup the body. This is a great system to easily create incredibly realistic stonefly nymphs. Medium size is ideal for sizes 10-6 and large 8-4.
