New for Spring 2025, Patagonia’s Women’s Swiftcurrent Traverse Waders are a full featured waterproof breathable wader designed by women for women. Fit, comfort, durability, and features, set this wader ahead of the rest.

Women’s Swiftcurrent Traverse Waders were engineered for versatility. They excel in and out of the water, boasting a streamline design, lighter-weight construction and unparalleled simplicity for performance. Upper and lower fabrics are 5.6oz 50-denier 100% recycled PET polyester microfiber high-density taffeta face bonded to a poly back. Four layer construction and DWR (PFAS Free DWR) keeps anglers dry and comfortable. At the ankle heavy duty scuff guards deliver abrasion resistance in high wear areas. 4mm neoprene booties are anatomical and durable.

Women’s Swiftcurrent Traverse Waders feature a regular fit with improved freedom of movement, repatterned for durability, repairability, mobility and reduced seam stress. Gusseted crotch with articulated seat and legs for ease of movement in and out of the water. We love the new color of these waders and feel that a huge upgrade has occurred in terms of getting in and out of the whole line of Patagonia waders. An increase size at the “ankle/bootie turn” ie.. pushing your foot around the corner and into the wader bootie has been vastly improved. You can now easily pull the waders on. Getting out of them in many cases can be done by your opposite foot standing on a small part of the neo bootie and pulling your foot out. Major improvement!

Women’s Swiftcurrent Traverse Waders have elastic suspender straps with tri-glide adjustability and convert easily to waist high with built in cam locks. One YKK reverse coil zippered stretch stash chest pocket is perfect for fly boxes, phone etc. We found these super easy to get in and out of. Interior pockets include on quick access drop in stretch pocket and one zippered security stretch pocket. A tool dock and pack loops at the chest aid in compatibility with other Patagonia packs, and a net loop at center back makes it easy to attach an net lanyard or simply hang your waders to dry.

Total weight 42.3oz. A QR code on the interior of each wader links to product care and repair videos and instructions that aid in quick riverside repairs. Each wader comes with an Aquaseal Patch repair kit.

A quick note on sizing. We have included an image with a size chart. Patagonia does it’s sizing a bit different form the rest of the wader companies. Three letters denote size. First letter body/chest size, second letter inseam, third letter bootie size. Thus a men’s MRM is a medium chest, regular inseam 32”, and Medium bootie or 9-11 shoe size. And LLL is a Large Chest, Long inseam 34-36”, and a Large Bootie 12-14. A women’s SRS would be a Small body/chest 38”, Regular inseam 31”, and a Small bootie size 6-8.
