Patagonia Swiftcurrent Expedition Zip Front Waders are built for the angler seeking the most rugged conditions, made with meticulous attention to detail, unmatched durability and unwavering performance.

We love the new color of these proven waders and feel that a huge upgrade has occurred in terms of getting in and out of the whole line of Patagonia waders. An increase size at the “ankle/bootie turn” ie.. pushing your foot around the corner and into the wader bootie has been vastly improved. You can now easily pull the waders on. Getting out of them in many cases can be done by your opposite foot standing on a small part of the neo bootie and pulling your foot out. Major improvement!

Swiftcurrent Expedition Zip Front waders have a 5.6oz upper material that reduces bulk without sacrificing durability. A 9.4oz lower material protects key areas that take the most beating on a walk and wader adventure. Patagonia has created this proven 4 layer fabric set that includes a DWR finish without intentionally added PFAS chemicals. At the ankle heavy duty scuff guards deliver abrasion resistance in high wear areas.

Swiftcurrent Expedition Zip Front waders have a gusseted crotch with an articulated seat and legs for ultimate mobility in and out of the water. This means getting in and out of the boat is easy and hopping that fence with clearance is a piece of cake.

A submersible zipper is of course the key feature to the Swiftcurrent Expedition Zip Front Waders. Additionally, a fully adjustable, quick-release suspender offers easy chest to waist high conversion. A top hem drawcord and a secure stretch wading belt are included with every pair. Inside the wader you have a stretch zippered pocket, a quick access drop in pocket and a removable waterproof pocket. A center back loop for storage and drying makes it easy to hang your waders after fishing. The exterior of the Expedition Zip has two handwarmer pockets with zip flaps for back of the hand comfort, and two vertical zippered chest pockets for fly boxes. Tool dock and pack loop attachment points at the chest, and a low-profile net loop at the center back.

The Swiftcurrent Expedition Zip Front Wader has added comfort features that include removable knee pads and 4mm neoprene anatomical lined booties. Padded flex suspender straps with G-hook adjustability. Cam locks provide flexibility for waist-high conversion or streamside relief.

A QR code on the interior of each wader links to product care and repair videos and instructions that aid in quick riverside repairs. Each wader comes with an Aquaseal Patch repair kit.

A quick note on sizing. We have included an image with a size chart. Patagonia does it’s sizing a bit different form the rest of the wader companies. Three letters denote size. First letter body/chest size, second letter inseam, third letter bootie size. Thus a men’s MRM is a medium chest, regular inseam 32”, and Medium bootie or 9-11 shoe size. And LLL is a Large Chest, Long inseam 34-36”, and a Large Bootie 12-14. A women’s SRS would be a Small body/chest 38”, Regular inseam 31”, and a Small bootie size 6-8.
