The versatile Patagonia Men’s R2 TechFace Pullover is a killer mid-weight top. It can be worn by itself, comfortably over a thinner top and under a puffy. A zippered front pocket accommodates a cell phone or a small to medium fly box. A gridded fleece interior keeps the wearer warm and provides additional abrasion resistance. The shoulders are further reinforced to prevent wear. Its hood can be zippered to a tight over a ball cap or hung loose with the zipper around the collarbone. The front zipper pulls down to just above a roomy kangaroo pocket. Gusseted sleeves are another nice addition for layering and repetitive overhead movements (fly casting). But don’t let them encourage you to use too much wrist! The polyester and spandex pullover is finished with DWR without PFAS/PFCs so it remains water shedding.
