These are the perfect tip for 8-10 foot rods.

Just like the 5 foot Micro Commando Tips, these are simply 2.5 feet longer to provide you with more anchor support in the cast. OPST built this tip for 5-8 weight rods from 8-10 feet in length.

Weighing in at 60 grains, these tips are equivalent to T-8. These 7.5 Foot Commando Tips come with strong loops at both ends, and a clear tip ID on the rear end. As you will see from our options drop down, these tips are available in 3 different sink rates.

Commando Tips have really blown up in popularity in the past few years and for good reason. The 7.5 foot tip is a fabulous tool for the single handed fly fisherman. They are extremely easy to fish with in comparison to single handed sink tips or sink tip fly lines of the past 10 years. We love these 7.5 foot 60 grain tips for swinging flies for steelhead in the Fall. They will also work equally well for trout, bass, or anything else you wish to pursue at depth in freshwater.
