NickÕs Fat Caddass is an awesome jigged caddis pupa nymph that sinks quickly, but also has a realistic, slender thorax to match the natural life stage.

Available in sizes 12-16, this fly fishes very well both under a strike indicator, or a as a dropper under a larger dry fly. The jigged hook style means that when the fly hits the water, it sinks Ōhead-first,Ķ so it drops to the depth you need it at much quicker than a traditional nymph. This is incredibly effective when fishing turbulent pocket water, where fast water and short drifts are commonplace. A simple yet realistic tie, this is a favorite caddis nymph around the shop.
