The Mantis Shrimp is a killer crustacean fly for not only bonefish, but many other species across the world.

While its primary function is to be a bonefish and permit fly, the EP Mantis Shrimp is great for redfish, striped bass, smallmouth bass, and any other fish that feeds along the bottom. The EP Mantis Shrimp is tied with sparkly EP fibers yet it has no flash, so the duller color scheme can be lethal when fishing over pressured fish. We at the shop have had great success fishing this fly for bonefish in both shallow and deep water.
