These pliers have no locking mechanism, so you can apply a lot of extra strength to your task that you could not previously on traditional, locking hemostats. A compact cutting surface on the base of the plier head allows you to cut light or heavy leader materials. The tightly angled jaws make it easy to use with both big and small flies.

Comfortably sized finger and thumbholes are both grippy and large enough to accommodate large or gloved fingers on cold days.
