The fast and powerful Lamson Cobalt Rods get the job done. An ultra-fast blank easily generates high line speed during windy or calm conditions for quick recasts, third chances or the five hundredth blind cast. A range of flies, matched appropriately to rod weight, can be cast on these rods. The tip section flexes enough with the midsection where it does not sacrifice accuracy in the name of sheer power. If it's not clear these rods are really fast! They get stuff done. Sinking lines and single-hand shooting head style lines for stripers, rockfish etc. will work well on Cobalt Rods. They are solid flats or inshore rods that cast presentation focused lines with enough grace for a plethora of species. All Cobalt rods feature Lamson's bombproof Lockdown reel seat, the reel seat is anodized aluminum which adds to its durability. Additional components include: oversized stainless steel snake guides and two stripping guides (single on the 6 weight). The rods are Sky Grey with blue and darker grey accents. Each rod comes with a Cordura rod tube and a matching rod sock.
