Brass cone heads provide a modest amount of weight and are available in black, brass, copper and nickel finishes that are outstandingly durable. Brass cone heads are available in sizes from 5/32" to 1/4" and thusly fit a lot of hooks.

If you wish to achieve faster or deeper sink for your flies, choose the Hareline Tungsten Cones or the Hareline slotted tungsten cone heads. If you want to glue in pupils, choose the Hareline X-eyed cones, and if you tie tube flies try the HMH coneheads for tubes. That said, the tungsten cones will fit over the small or micro HMH tube (they fit very tight on the small HMH tube and very easily on the micro tube).
