Dr. Slick Braid Scissors are a 4 inch pair of scissors designed for cutting braid and other synthetic lines. The blades are not serrated, this helps cut braid. In fly fishing they can be used for cutting backing, when thermally fused braid or standard braid is used to attached stinger hooks. In conventional fishing, they are great for cutting 4, 8 or 16 strand braid that has become ever popular as a mainline.
