This Aquaflies Riffle Hitch Tube fly is a wonderful choice to fish when you want to skate a fly across glassy surfaces and tail-outs, but can also be fished in turbulent flows.

A hole in the side of the tube makes the skate a sure thing.

Length? Roughly 0.5 inches or 0.75 inches.

Weight? None. This is a perfect fly for the all waters where you hope to skate a small damp fly in the surface film

This is not a big splashy skater and it does not push a lot of water or disturbance, but the steelhead like it very much thank you, as do the Atlantic Salmon.

Hooks? Sharp and barbed, so we suggest that anglers gently pinch the barb.
