The Airflo Skagit F.I.S.T is a triple density Skagit head with floating, intermediate, and sinking sections comprised into a 20.5Õ- 23.5Õ head.
F.I.S.T is: 'Floating. Intermediate. Sink. Tip.'
European anglers have utilized triple density spey lines for quite some time now. However, besides the few North American anglers who have crafted their own by cutting heads and tips together, triple density heads havenÕt been a method utilized heavily out here.
The Skagit F.I.S.T from Airflo features a floating rear 6-7 foot taper, followed by a 7-8 foot section of intermediate, and it finishes to a 6-7 foot T-3 sinking tip. The Floating section tracks through the upper current while the intermediate portion helps hold the sinking tip and fly in place in the sweet spot of the run.
Furthermore, you can combine the F.I.S.T shooting head with any T-sinking tip, such as T-3, T-8, T-11, T-14, etc.
This line was developed by the Rajeff Sports Team and 30+ year veteran steelhead guides. This line was designed to be the easiest casting and deepest digging Skagit line ever created.
