The Airflo Shovelhead Fly Line was designed by the streamer guru himself, Kally Galloup.

The Shovelhead Fly Line has an innovative double weight forward design to assist in casting the burliest articulated flies while the fast-sinking head gets you down deep immediately.

This fly line is what Kelly Galloup, and streamer fishing in general, is all about. When streamer fishing, you want your fly to be cooperating and doing what its supposed to be doing within the first few feet of the cast. If not, your presentation suffers and so does your success rate. You also want to ensure that your streamer stays at a constant depth during the retrieval, and this line makes sure of that.

Technology and Taper.

This power core fly line has only 6% stretch which improves casting control, sensitivity, and hook set. The ridged coating reduces the surface area that comes in contact with the guides of your rod, which reduces friction and increases shoot-ability. A a powerful, huge fly taper assists in casting the heaviest and biggest of flies.

Polyleader?

If you want to use a polyleader with this fly line, the ÔtroutÕ series are sufficient.
